Night Before
What is a great dinner recipe to have the night before a big run? What would be good for breakfast?
I have a big workout and a 1.5 mile run to do early in the morning. What should I eat the night before? What would be good for breakfast the day of?
Dinner:
You should have an equal amount of all of the food groups. Fish and Poultry, Vegetables, Fruits, Grains, and Dairy. Soo, the right dinner would be to have either a good, lean piece of Citrus Chicken Breast or Salmon Steak. Side that with a small amount of Whole Grain Pasta, topped with Crumbled Feta Cheese. Another side would be steamed Broccoli and Carrots. For desert, you should have a Fruit Salad. Apples, Grapes, Oranges, Pears, Strawberries, whatever You Like.
Breakfast:
For breakfast, the right meal would be either baked Ham or some kind of healthy, oil free bacon. If you like eggs, then have a vegetable and cheese omelet, with just a LITTLE salt and pepper. A piece of Whole Grain Toast on the side and some fruit.
